Biography

Mallory Marshall is a Metro-Detroit based dance artist who is most distinguished for her versatility in the field of dance. She is a multidisciplinary artist who moves fluidly through the roles of performer, teacher, and choreographer. She began training at The Dance Shoppe in Waterford, MI at two years old and has devoted all her life since to her passion for dance. Mallory is a graduate of Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) where she earned a B.F.A in dance. She excelled at WSU as a performer, choreographer, research assistant, dance captain of the spring 2022 musical, “Head Over Heels”, and choreographer of the fall 2022 musical, “RENT”. She has trained and performed in some of the country’s most popular dance hubs including Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago. Her performance portfolio is diverse — with experience in commercial back-up dance, concert dance, musical theatre, and more. Mallory is a frequent guest teacher and choreographer at studios all around Michigan and has worked out of state as a convention faculty member and adjudicator. She currently works as a teacher and choreographer at The Dance Shoppe where she is dedicated to educating and inspiring the future generations of dancers.
